Ritzy Bee Events is an event design company that conceptualizes completely custom buzz-worthy experiences. The team currently offers their design, styling and creative direction services exclusively to the trade, working “bee-hind” the scenes with select notable brands in the lifestyle, wedding, event and interior design fields. Their original, custom design process incorporates hand drawn sketches, tailored design boards, and other renderings to create a visual narrative to accurately communicate ideas and concepts to clients.


Nationally recognized, their elegant, understated style and refined aesthetic is signature of both their company and the Washington, D.C. area where their studio is based. Since 1999, Maria Baer and Kelly Seizert have designed, planned and produced several hundred weddings and events for some of Washington’s finest families and noteworthy companies. Named by Martha Stewart Weddings as one of the top wedding planners in the country and by Country Living Magazine as one of the country's most creative, Maria and Kelly are also authors of The Southern Living Wedding Planner and creators of the internationally read Ritzy Bee blog. Their work has appeared in many national and local publications including Martha Stewart Weddings, BRIDES, Country Living, Southern Living, Washingtonian and many other esteemed online media outlets. From 2009 to 2014 Maria and Kelly also regularly contributed their design talents to the planning of White House social and holiday events.
